Community 3D assets app
In this project I set out to design a free hub for designs, aspiring designers or simply people who want to learn. It has features such as a blog page, 3D model viewer page and a tutorial page.

The Challenge
Based on Qualitative research that I have conducted within the topic of 3D designers I was able to build up a user profile that would help assist me in the design stages of this app.

Users would generally only be able to view 3D models on a desktop PC or their laptop
Competitor analysis
Research for this app consisted on finding applications that would individually target certain aspects of the app. When researching I found that the information given on 3D applications was not seamless. This app is made to help a user go from watching tutorials, seeking help and downloading/viewing models for free, all within the same space.

Utilising my research and my objective, I was able to come up with a simple site map for the features me and my team were going to focus on.

Wireframes
After identifying this project's key objectives, I could translate my ideas into lo-fi wireframes. After testing the app's layout, I came up with these designs.
Design language
I created a short and simple design language document for this project to help assist in creating consistency throughout the project.
Blog
Blogging is an important part of creating a community around 3D designers and anyone who wants to be able to learn about 3D. A user will be able to ask questions and answer questions.
Tutorials
Learning is a big part of this community. By having creators create tutorials, the community is able to learn everything in one app.
3D models
Salford and the greater Manchester area is full of places to explore and things to do. As this app is geared towards
Reflection
Challenges
This project came with numerous challenges. However, a challenge that I found to be particularly hard was deciding which features I should focus on when designing this app, as there was a very limited timeframe to complete this project.
What can be improved?
Although I did numerus amounts of testing, due to ethical clearance from the university, I wasn't quite able to test my designs on people that I planned on using it with. However, in future personal projects that is something I would like to do, to consistently improve on my designs.
